Greetings from Grace Christian School! We invite you to check out the most current news and happenings at GCS. Congratulations to our graduates, the Class of 2017, who will officially graduate this Saturday, June 10th at 2 P.M.! May God's blessings be upon you as you begin the next phase of your life! |
School News
The Senior Chapel Service was a very special day at GCS. Each member of the senior class was recognized and honored by a staff member. Many of these graduates have attended GCS all four years of their high school career. One of the benefits of attending a small school like Grace is that we know every student SO well. It makes saying goodbye VERY difficult.

GCS welcomed acclaimed children's author and motivational speaker, Trace Wilson to chapel in May. Born without a right hand, Trace has learned to love his unique differences and now seeks to help other children do the same. In addition to sharing his children's books, Uniquely Me and Uniquely Brave, Trace spoke on John 7:24 and how we are called not to judge others according to outward appearances. |

School Activities
The BEST FOOT FORWARD SERVICE CLUB met in late May to assemble 12 boxes of student collected items for soldiers serving in Kuwait. Staff Sergeant Daniel Salmon's wife, Rene Salmon assisted with the packaging. Her husband's battalion should receive the boxes by the end of the month. Great work, GCS community! |

Student Spotlight
The junior class presented Fisher House manager, Wayne Walker, CSM, U.S.A. (Ret.) with a check for $1,710.00 at a May chapel service. Our largest donation to a non-profit! After expenses, GCS raised $17,073.98 during our Walk-a-thon. Our donation will be used to support the families of wounded veterans. Mr. Walker said, "The best medicine a vet can have is to have his family close."
