Cross Country

The KINGS cross country program has been led by Coach Heather Ferguson since 2020. Coach Ferguson is known not only for her dedication and training expertise but also for the way she inspires her runners to push beyond limits and grow in perseverance, character, and faith. Under her leadership, the team has built a reputation for determination and encouragement, with runners who consistently model grace and grit on the course.

In 2022, the GCS Cross Country team received special recognition from Virginia Delegate Scott Wyatt for their outstanding fall season - a testament to both the athletes’ hard work and Coach Ferguson’s leadership. The program continues to thrive as students discover the joy of running while representing Grace with integrity and strength.
