Chick-fil-A & Grace Christian School

Chick-Fil-a: Sponsor of OPERATION COW DROP

For nearly 60 years, Chick-fil-A has worked to be America’s best quick-service restaurant — not just by serving fresh, delicious food with warm hospitality, but by fostering meaningful connections and strengthening communities.

With that mission in mind, Chick-fil-A Virginia Center Marketplace and Chick-fil-A The Center of the Universe are proud to partner with Grace Christian School to bring back the community fundraising event Operation Cow Drop. We are also grateful to the Hanover County Airport for generously hosting this year’s event at their new location:
9500 Sliding Hill Road, Ashland, VA 23005

GRACE CHRISTIAN SCHOOL : CHICK-FIL-A’S PARTNER IN SERVICE

Grace Christian School is a Christ-centered community dedicated to academic excellence and grounded in Biblical principles and a Christian worldview. Grace empowers students to be leaders who make a lasting impact on their families, communities, and beyond.
As the only private secondary school in Hanover County serving grades 6–12, Grace opened its doors in 2013 with 34 students. Today, the school serves 365 students and continues to grow. A defining hallmark of Grace’s culture is service: every student fulfills required service hours as part of their path to graduation.

One of the meaningful ways Grace lives out this commitment is through Operation Cow Drop. Chick-fil-A partners with Grace because the school provides the dedicated volunteers needed to make this event successful. Grace students, staff, and families come together to serve with enthusiasm and embody the spirit of Chick-fil-A in our community.
Grace Christian School also sponsors an exciting raffle at the event — with the top prize Chick-fil-A for a year and many other prizes. In the weeks leading up to Operation Cow Drop, Grace students enthusiastically sell raffle tickets to raise support not only for their school but also to give back to a local nonprofit partner.

SPECIAL OLYMPICS VIRGINIA — THE 2026 NONPROFIT PARTNER

This year, we are honored to support Special Olympics Virginia, a nonprofit organization dedicated to empowering individuals with intellectual disabilities through the transformative power of sports and inclusion. (Special Olympics Virginia)

Special Olympics Virginia’s mission is to provide year-round sports training and athletic competition in a wide range of Olympic-style sports for children and adults with intellectual disabilities. These programs give athletes opportunities to improve physical fitness, demonstrate courage, experience joy, and share in friendship with their families, fellow athletes, and the community at large. (Special Olympics Virginia)

More than sport, Special Olympics Virginia works to build inclusive, healthier communities by increasing access to physical activity and breaking down barriers to participation. Through competitions, training, volunteer engagement, health and wellness initiatives, and community events, the organization strives to foster dignity, acceptance, and belonging for all individuals. (Special Olympics Virginia)

At Operation Cow Drop, Special Olympics Virginia will be featured at the event, and a generous donation check will be presented on behalf of our community. We’re excited to celebrate the contributions and achievements of their athletes and the impact they make across Virginia.
