For almost 60 years, Chick-fil-A has endeavored to be America’s best quick-service restaurant. We strive to live up to this mission not only by providing fresh and delicious food with excellent customer service, but also promoting community connections and outreach initiatives.
With that in mind, Chick-fil-A Virginia Center Marketplace and The Center of the Universe locations are partnering with Grace Christian School to bring back a fundraising event called "Operation Cow Drop." The Hanover County Airport has graciously offered to host the event once again at their new location. The event will take place on Saturday, May 3rd from 10:00 am until 3:00 pm. All funds raised will benefit Grace Christian School.
Grace Christian School is a non-denominational Christian middle and high school whose foundation is built on the fundamental core beliefs of the Christian faith. Grace was designed to prepare students for whatever call God has placed on their lives. Through curriculum offerings, extracurricular opportunities, service awareness and emphasis in technology, Grace seeks to prepare students for success in life.
In August 2023, Grace opened an 18,000 square foot addition that welcomed a dedicated office space, a cafeteria, 11 new classrooms including two state of the art science labs, a spacious art classroom with a kiln, a dedicated STEM lab, computer lab, new locker rooms, and a weight room.
Grace is the only private secondary school in Hanover County serving students in grades 6-12. In the fall of 2013, the school opened doors to welcome 34 students. Today, 350 students attend Grace. The new addition will allow Grace to welcome over 400 students. All proceeds from Operation Cow Drop will be donated to the Grace Christian School annual fund.
